Frugal Living Tip. Saving Money on Gym Memberships

A great tip in saving money on gym memberships is to check with your health insurance to see if they offer reimbursement for part of your gym memberships.  I have found in researching that most HMO's offer between $100-$150 in refunds of membership fee's to subscribers who have been a member of their gym and health insurance for at least 4 months.
This is a great savings and the only thing you have to do is down load the form and send it in to your insurance company along with a receipt from your gym showing what dues you have paid.  In previous years I had a membership that was just for myself and the monthly fee was $20.00.  I had a $150.00 membership benefit with my insurance so a full year at the gym only cost me $90.  Now the real trick is to go a little more....
