Gift Cards For Less

Has anyone tried buying gift cards on bidcactus.com?  It looks like a great deal on gift cards.  I just signed up today so I have not tried it yet. 
  The gist of it is that you are bidding on gift cards offered by some major retailers as well as Amex and Visa.  I just saw a $100.00 Visa gift card go for $1.57.  There is a catch in that unlike Ebay you pay for the amount of bids you make and you buy them in a bundle.  Each bid is .75 and you buy bids in bundles starting a 25. 
  I'm going to try it as soon as I get some money in my Paypal account.  Christmas has flattened my Paypal extra spending account temporarily.
