CVS $5 Challenge One with One Newspaper and One Computer

  Are you ready for this weeks $5 CVS Challenge hosted by Kingdom First Mom?  The objective of the challenge is to see how far you can stretch $5 at CVS this week.  I do my challenge with one newspaper subscription and one computer.  If I can save just using those resources so can you.  You do not have to be extreme to save big.  This week does not look to exciting to me but here we go.

Transaction 1
Trident Vitality or Stride Spark 9-14 ct $0.99 = $0.99 Ecb (limit 1)
Use the $1/2 coupon found in the 4/3 SS or $1.00 off Trident single packs from the magic coupon machine (Those printed last week for some of us)

Revlon nail $4.99 = $4 Ecb (limit 6 )
Use the $2/1 coupon found in the 5/8 SS or the $1/1 coupon found in the 4/10 SS
Purex Ultra Concentrate liquid laundry detergent 24-33 loads $1.98
Use the $1/1 coupon found in the 5/1 RP


Total = $7.96

ECB's earned = $4.99

Arm & Hammer liquid laundry detergent 25-32 loads or total 2in1 dryer cloths 40 ct Buy 1 get 1 Free
Buy 2 Arm & Hammer 2-in-1 Classic Fresh Dryer Cloths $4.69 each
Minus BOGO = $4.69 for both
Use the $3/2 coupon found in the 4/10 SS or the 1/2 coupon found in the 4/10 SS or here
Buy 2 Covergirl eye shadow singles $3.49 
Minus BOGO 50% off sale = $5.24 for both
Use the $2.50/2 coupon found in the 5/1 P&G


Total $16.36
Coupons and sales = $11.93
ECB's used = $4 from Revlon transaction 1
OOP = .43

Total merchandise value for both transactions = $24.32
OOP = $4.39
ECB's remaining = $1 from Trident.
