CVS $5 Challenge One Paper One Computer Lots of Savings

  Are you ready for the weekly CVS $5 Challenge hosted by Kingdom First Mom ?  Your challenge is to stretch $5 as much as possible for this week at CVS using only $5, ECB's you earn this week and your keen thrifty sense.  I do this challenge using only one paper and one computer to show you that you do not have to be extreme to save big.

  Transaction 1:

Oral-B Pulsar toothbrush 1 pk $6 = $3 ECB (limit 2)
Use the $3/1 coupon found in the 6/5 P&G

Total Value = $6
Coupons = $3
OOP = $3
ECB's Earned = 3 ECB

Transaction 2:

Crest Pro-health rinse 1 liter $4.50 = $2.50 ECB (limit 2)
Use the $2/1 coupon found in the 6/5 P&G

Colgate MaxClean SmartFoam, MaxFresh, MaxWhite 6 oz or 360 surround toothbrush 1 ct $2.79 = 2 ECB (limit 2)
Use the $1/1 coupon found in the May issue of All You mag. or the $0.75/1 coupon found in the 6/5 SS

Total value of merchandise = $7.29
Coupons used = $3
ECB used = 3 (from transaction 1 )
OOP = 1.29
ECB's Earned = 4.50

Transaction 3:

Excedrin extra strength, PM or migraine 8 ct $0.99 = $0.99 Ecb (limit 2) X 2 ( Do this deal twice)

Coke 2 liter bottles $0.99
Diet Coke Facebook printable $1.00 off coupon (no longer available) You can also use $1 off 1 from Recyclebank or MyCokeRewards

Dove, Yardley, Lever 2000, or Ivory 3.15-4.25 oz bar or Ivory 3 pk $0.99
Use the $1/1 Ivory coupon found in the 5/1 P&G

Ban invisible solid 2.6 oz $2.99 = $2 ECB (limit 1)
Use the $0.75/1 coupon found in the 6/5 SS
Total value =$6.95
Coupons used =  2.75
ECB's Used = $4.50 (have cashier adjust down or get a .30 cent filler)
ECB's earned = $3.98

Total for All Three Transactions:

Merchandise value = $20.24
ECB's left to roll next week = $3.98
OOP = $4.29

So if you include the ECB's earned for next week you could say that you will get $20.24 in goods all for .31 .  I'd say that pretty good.
