Walgreens $5 Weekly Challenge

  Are you ready for another round of The Walgreens $5 Challenge hosted by Kingdom First Mom?  The objective of the game is to see how much you can get at Walgreens this week using only $5, your coupons and your keen thrifty skills.  I do my challenge only using one computer and one paper.  You do not have to be extreme to save big.  I'm going to warn you this week at Walgreens is looking pretty slim to me as far as great deals go so instead of multiple transactions I'm going to give you two scenarios instead for stretching your $5.  Not a good week for Register Rewards which always make the savings much bigger.

Idea 1:

Nabisco cookies or crackers 4-8 oz $0.99 with in ad coupon
Use the $1/2 coupon 6/19 SS

Royal Gelatin regular or sugar free $0.19 - buy 2 =(limit 6)


Huggies wipes 184-216 ct $5.99 ( This is the big re-fill pack.  Great deal!)
Use the $2/1 Walgreens coupon found in the Infant Care Coupon Booklet
Plus, use the $0.50/1 coupon 6/12 SS

Total Merchandise Value = $8.35

Total coupons = $3.50

OOP = $4.85
