Phew......It has been a busy selling season on Amazon for me.  I have concentrated on Amazon selling and put Ebay on the back burner since the beginning of November ( still shipping though glad to have the few sales still.).  It's been crazy but profitable.  I'm happy to share though that I am shipping my last big Amazon order out to the FBA fulfillment center on Tuesday!!!!  Yay!!!!

I still will have some small shipments to send in but the major stuff will be done until January.  The best part is that I budgeted for my littlest one to go to the babysitters for three days of the two weeks prior to Christmas and the older ones will be in school.  That means this Thrifty Momma will be shopping for stocking stuffers, wrapping gifts, getting my hair cut finally and working on my big home improvement project I've been saving my Ebay profits for.  I can't wait to share the results.

What are your plans for the next few weeks if you are a reseller?  Are you busier than ever shipping things out on Ebay or are you getting ready to put your feet up and enjoy the benefits of all your hard work?

Lets Play Personal Shopper

So as most of you know I make most of my at home mommy money by selling on Ebay and Amazon.  That means that at this time of year I spend a lot of time online and in the retail stores.  I have an excellent eye for deals and I am "in the field" daily so to speak.

Aside from shopping for my own Santa list and for Amazon ( Ebay takes a bit of a back seat until Feb but I'm still selling) I love to help other people in finding bargains and saving money.  Is there something special you are looking for this time of year?  I would be happy to keep my eyes peeled for a deal on it for you.  Just post here what you are looking for and I will write a quick post when I find the item at a great price.  The great part about our little savings community is that we can all help with this.  If someone posts something that they are looking for and you know where to get it for a steal, post a reply and help them out.  Its fun being one of Santas elves.

I'll start.  I'm looking for a deal on a steam mop.  I missed out on the killer Kohls deal the other day as the site kept crashing.  Thats also why I did not post the deal.  Ideally I would like it to be less than $45.  I'm also looking for a Wii U.  I am on a waiting list at Game Stop so I'm crossing my fingers but thats the main thing on my kids Santa list.

So what would you like Santas bargain elves to find for you.......?

Quick Amazon Selling Tip

This is the time of year to check your reserved inventory frequently.  When you have an item purchased that you have multiples of when the first one sells it is a good idea to go in an bump the price a bit.  I did this several times last week and the remaining items always sold with in a day or so at the higher price.  Don't be afraid to raise the price a bit when something starts to sell.  The worse case scenario is that you drop the price back down after a while if the sales drop off.  Just a quick tip that has made me some extra money this week.  Happy Black Friday to all!!!!

I Must Be Crazy.

Only a crazy person would Amazon scout while on vacation right? Well that's me. Crazy. I had to head to the grocery store for diapers while we were at a tiny town along the Colorado River and low and behold they had seven, yes seven bottles of Benifiber . I thought I struck gold. They are selling for $35-40 each on Amazon right now.

Today is day two of Lego Land and yesterday I saw they were selling Lego Harry Potter sets. Off to scan a few I hope today. Wish me luck. I hope they will ship them to my house for a price as room in the luggage is a bit tight. Hope you all are having a fun thrifty week!

Oh by the way I decided to pass on the American Girl stuff I mentioned in my last post.

Quick Inventory Suggestion for Amazon

Just a quick blurb for those who sell on Amazon.  A great place to find discontinued or hard to find health items that go for big bucks are Dollar Store types of stores.  I have found some great flips at places that people do not traditionally think of when they think health and beauty.  Think outside the box for great profits.  This applies to EBay as well but I usually sell health and beauty on Amazon.

Amazon BOLO:

So my yard sale adventure on Saturday was not to exciting but I stopped at a sale on Sunday with the three kids and found these:

It was a sale run by kids so they could get some spending money. Great idea I think. They called it a treasure hunt sale and were wearing pirate hats. Cute!

Anyhow I picked up these three DVD's for $1. Yep $1 for all three. It actually was even better than that as they were .25 a piece but being a big spender I told the kids to keep the change.

I did not look up the value on my phone at the sale as I was keeping an eye on my kids while doing speedy shopping. When I got home I scanned the bar codes with my FBA Scout app and was tickled to see that my profit on these should be over $60!!!!

The one that is worth the most is My Little Pony the Movie with the voice of Danny DeVito. New on Amazon it's going for $70. Even used I can get almost $40.

For those who only sell on EBay that same movie goes for $30+ used on EBay. The other two movies are going to net me $25-30 for the both. Not bad for a $1 investment and my 6 year old daughter will love watching to make sure the movies work. Win, win.
