Fast forward to yesterday... Inks in, card stock is loaded, items are ready for tags. I log onto the consignor sight and it says in bold letters - CONSIGNER NOT REGISTERED. Yep all my logged items were gone poof!!! To make it even more of a kick in the pants they said they are not taking any more consigners and had no way of opening a spot for me.
It seems I'm the only seller who had this problem or so they say. Oh it gets even better because now that I'm no longer a registered consigner with 100 or more items I can't go to the pre sale. ( I don't have a sitter for that night so I can't go anyway but it just makes me crazy!)
So much time, effort and potential money wasted. I do have a plan B though which I will post shortly.

ReplyDeleteIrritated beyond words but wondering if the amount of time I put into it would really be worth it. I really wanted my presale pass and that is one of the big reasons I do the sale but as it turns out I could not go to the presale or even the sale for lack of a sitter and hubbys sched. Something is going to work out right???

ReplyDeleteI am participating in consignment sale that wraps up this weekend, and one day last week all of the info that was input into the system by individual consignors wasn't updated (on the other end) correctly overnight, and everything input that day by EVERYONE was lost. But at least it didn't lose entire consignor records. That is so strange. And infuriating, if it felt like they were just blowing you off.
I hope you all got credit for everything in the end. What a pain.
